The former Irish and International Lions rugby player Willie Duggan is Managing Director of Willie Duggan Lighting Ltd. This is a family run company, which was established in 1939. Initially the core of the business was electrical contracting but constant requests for a quality lighting service led to a decision taken in the early nineties to concentrate solely on lighting and today Willie Duggan Lighting Ltd. is one of Irelands leading lighting specialists.

A unique understanding of how to use light and a willingness to embrace new technologies, has led to the company growing substantially year upon year. We are now exclusive agents for many of Europe's top lighting design houses and offer an extensive range of solutions for both the decorative and technical markets.

2011 brought a new dimension to Willie Duggan Lighting with the launch of our sister companies W.TWO Lighting Design Consultants and Willie Duggan Online Shop.

W.TWO Lighting Design Consultants is run by Willie Duggan Jnr, CEng MCIBSE, MSc Light and Lighting, BSc Eng. Willie, a chartered engineer, studied lighting design in London College achieving a master degree. He then honed his skills working on major projects across the UK and Europe for GIA Equation, a renowned UK lighting design agency before moving home to set up his own consultancy.

Architectural lighting design is relatively new to Ireland but an established practice across the UK, Europe and the US. W.TWO Lighting Design Consultants aims to provide a quality lighting design service in Ireland which balances a creative and innovative approach to lighting design with the practical considerations of maintenance and sustainability. They provide unrivalled services in Ireland which range from artificial lighting design for both exterior and interior projects to daylight analysis, lighting master planning and environmental impact reports.
