Ballynahinch Castle

Architect: De Blacam and Meagher Architects
Location: Ballynahinch, Galway
Year: 2015

Built in the 18th century and set within 450 acres of woodland in Connemara, Ballynahinch Castle has undergone extensive renovation in recent years. The architects specification was for an authentic, yet simple pendant with a weathered antique finish. The pendants were completely bespoke manufactured to our exact requirements using local manufacturers and suppliers and we feel they act as a unique statement piece to the space. The use of decorative filament lamps also adds a sense of warmth.
"We approached Willie Duggan's to look at the lighting design for our house in 2010 and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They produced the drawings package and a creative lighting design that more than met our expectations. Willie went the extra mile and called to site a number of times to ensure the installation went to plan. We highly recommend him and his team for the professionalism of their service."
