Ballynahinch Castle

Architect: De Blacam and Meagher Architects
Location: Ballynahinch, Galway
Year: 2015

Built in the 18th century and set within 450 acres of woodland in Connemara, Ballynahinch Castle has undergone extensive renovation in recent years. The architects specification was for an authentic, yet simple pendant with a weathered antique finish. The pendants were completely bespoke manufactured to our exact requirements using local manufacturers and suppliers and we feel they act as a unique statement piece to the space. The use of decorative filament lamps also adds a sense of warmth.
"Willie Duggan Lighting's unique ability to collaborate the creativity of the lighting design in the reception and external areas of the Kennedy Homestead Visitor Centre, proved to be a valuable asset to overall success of the project"
